Revenue Recovery Programs

TT&W specializes in identifying the most appropriate program for each patient based on the information provided by the patient. Our primary focus and specialty is Medicaid. But there are also a number of reimbursement and revenue programs we consider in each case. Below is an overview of many of these programs (note that there are programs within each of the main categories set out above). And while we make every effort to find a program for each patient, not all patients will be eligible for assistance. Please contact us with any questions you may have about programs we consider when interviewing and assisting patients.

Disability coverage through the Social Security Administration (SSI and RSDI benefits):

Many of our patients meet criteria to obtain benefits through Title II and Title XVI of 42 U.S.C. § 401. Medicaid coverage is automatic with coverage under Title XVI, and typically follows once coverage is obtained through Title II. TT&W handles initial applications and appeals through the hearing stage with the Social Security Administration.

Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC programs):

States provide coverage for adults who are unable to work due to illness or injury and who have the responsibility of minor dependent children. Additional criteria (e.g. household income, resource limits) vary from state to state, and are assessed by our patient representatives in accordance with state policies.  TT&W handles initial and follow-up applications, as well as appeals before state Administrative Law Judges in the event of an improper denial.

Crime Victim Reimbursement Programs:

Most states offer a program to allow uninsured patients to have some or all of their medical expenses paid by funded programs. Criteria inthese programs differ from state to state. TT&W handles initialand follow-up applications for these programs.
