TT&W designs referral procedures that will be the most effective for each client hospital. We offer you complete flexibility in how our program can be implemented. We urge you to contact us to discuss a referral program that best suits your facility and your patients’ needs.
The key to our working with a hospital successfully—large or small—is quick referrals, because the faster the referral is made, the higher our rate of approval becomes. That’s why we encourage financial counselors to refer to us all self-pay accounts. This relieves your staff of time-consuming investigation and frees their time for other responsibilities.
TT&W’s fees are contingency-based and are charged only for accounts that are approved and/or pre-certified for Medicaid. Our hospital clients pay nothing for our work if a patient is found to be ineligible. Most important, patients are never charged for any of the services we provide, regardless of the outcome of their case.
Because of our training and our quality of representation, we have found the prospective Medicaid reimbursement program to produce approvals as high as 53% of all self-pay cases, depending on patient demographics. Bear in mind, these percentages are in all self-pay cases, not just those cases accepted by our agency.
